Operational Overview:
Molds are placed on carrier trolleys, which are then moved along the ground rail conveyor. The pneumatic mold carriers are equipped with a mold-closing mechanism to ensure secure mold closure—the lifting of the air lock placed in the pneumatic struts that hold the closing mold in position. The molds have their cured products removed and put in a temperature-controlled hot-water recirculation system, sealing the products in the mold for optimum quality.
A PLC system controls the complete process for a fully automated production process. This system includes:
